I was only delighted to be invited over to the Frenchic Blogger & Media Showcase last April, especially as it was being held in SoHo!! Myself and Eoghan flew over just for the day to attend the Event but also managed to squeeze in some sightseeing on what turned out to be a glorious sunny day in London.
When we arrived at the Event, we were treated to a delicious Afternoon Tea style Brunch, while some of the UK’s Finest Frenchic Stockists held workshops showcasing just how easy Frenchic Furniture Paint is to work with! They also demonstrated the use of other Frenchic Products including how to decoupage with Frenchic Finishing Coat.
Everyone got to paint and decorate a lovely little Bird House to take home!
We got to see the new Frenchic Chalk Wall Paint Colours which were beautifully displayed here.
The New Frenchic Chalk Wall Paint is a washable, ultra matte chalk wall paint with superior coverage and very little odour.
Applied in only 1-2 coats, it is breathable and durable yet still maintains all the beautiful and unique qualities you would expect from Frenchic. As with all of the other Frenchic products, it is EN 71:3* certified and is ideal for painting nurseries and children’s rooms.
Colours include Bon Bon, Ducky, Gentlemen’s Club, Green with Envy, Moleskin, Parchment, Stone in Love, Velvet Crush, Whiter than White and Yorkshire Rose.
I got to meet some of the Frenchic Furniture Paint Team and finally got to meet in person the very lovely Founder & Creator, Pammy Gruhn!
At the end of the Event, it was announced that the New Frenchic Brand Ambassador is Craig Philips (of Big Brother Fame!!) together with his Wife Laura of @mrandmrsdiytv who are Upcycling & DIY Masters! So of course, I could not leave London until we found Peggy Porschen Cakes!!!

UPDATE – NEW FROM FRENCHIC!
Since the Frenchic Blogger & Media Showcase, it was announced that 6 New Colours were added to the outdoor Al Fresco Range!
The New Colours are as follows:
Blackjack ~ a smart jet black
Swanky Pants ~ a class act of cool grey
Kiss Me Sloely ~ deep and rich purply blue, the colour of sloeberries
Cool Beans ~ a classic and creamy taupe
Victory Lane ~ a rich British Racing Green
Duckling ~ a gentle and soft Duck Egg
Al Fresco is a water based, very low VOC exterior unique chalk and mineral paint is specifically developed to protect outside furniture such as tables and chairs, sheds, garage doors etc and even uPVC doors! You can also paint indoor furniture including kitchens and bathrooms. Al Fresco is EN71:3 certified, meaning it is safe to use on children’s toys and animal homes, hutches, kennels and stables and needs no primer or sealant.
Also since the Event, the New and Improved Lazy Range has just been Announced!
The Lazy Range is a unique chalk and mineral paint with a wax infusion meaning you don’t have to buy or use a separate Frenchic Wax.
It is self priming, self levelling and self sealing with no odour and is a smooth and gorgeous paint with excellent coverage.
What’s new is that you no longer need to buff to activate the wax infusion!
Just dip, paint and go! It is also wipeable, certified EN:71-3, so is safe to paint childrens toys etc. and dries in a couple of hours.
